Q: “I just purchased the hg20 and this battery from Abe's. I can not get the camera to communicate with this battery and therefore can not use it with the built in battery strength meter as your answer to question 2 above says is possible. Am doing something wrong or was your answer to question 2 above a mistake? I was willing to pay the high price of this after market battery because of this feature. If the battery is not able to do this than why would people pay twice as much for this battery when there are batteries for half the price with the same or better specifications?”
