Q: “The Panasonic support web site lists a firmware update to v1.2 dated 6/15/2009. It states the following: [ Warning ] After this firmware update your Panasonic Digital Camera cannot be operated by 3rd party batteries (non genuine Panasonic batteries). Will the Premium-Tech battery be non-usable after the firmware update as Panasonic contends? If the camera has v1.2, will this generic battery not work? Thanks.”

Q: “Hello, is this the actual Panasonic battery, or a generic one. I noticed it has a higher 1200mAh rating as opposed to the 895 mAh rating the Panasonic battery I received with my camera has. I am also verifying that this is indeed the battery that will work with the DMC-ZS3 camera's from Panasonic. Thanks”
