Hi. Re: sx7nik I have a Nikon D 700 (full frame FX) and a Nikon 28-300 VR lens and am looking for a 1.4x or 2x teleconverter. Nikon does not make such a converter. Nikon makes a teleconverter, but not for the 28 300. I have inquired about the Bower 2x converter, (7 elements) but the answers were equivocal and unsatisfactory. Hope you can answer my questions: 1. Will your converter work with my combination of camera and lens? 2. Will the auto focus work? 3. Will the auto exposure work? 4. Will the Vibration Reduction work? 5. Will the meta data transfer from the lens through the teleconverter to the camera and card. 6. If the above features won’t work, can I use the camera on the manual mode and take advantage of the magnification? 7. Beside the reduction in light coming through, will there be any degradation in the image? 8. Would you recommend the 1.4x or the 2x, and why. Thanks Theo Lesinski
