Finally a coffee pot that I can plug in and press an easy to find button labeled "On." The whole filter basket comes off and is easy to clean. All of the features look nice, but I grind my beans fresh every morning so I don't use them. The pot keeps coffee hot for at least 90 minutes.

We like this coffeemaker. Coffee tastes great and stays hot in the thermal carafe. Easy to pour the water and see the filler gauge. The carafe is well-balanced and pours easily. Others have complained about the cap and lid on the carafe, but we have had no problems with them. You have to be careful and follow the directions, but the Zojurishi is superior to Krups and other coffeemakers we have used over the years.

I wanted an insulated caraf to eliminate the hot plate energy use and scorching of the remaining coffee. This maker is fine, nothing to write home about but the caraf is excellent. It keeps your coffee on the toasty side for a good 3-4 hours after brewing. Seems like the manufacturer could have included some #4 cone filters in the box to get you started.

Had this coffee maker for two years without problems. The cover design is not good. Very hard to turn. People who gave this maker a poor rating must have a lemon. Exchange it for a new one.

Brews hotter coffee than the average machine. Cap for the carafe can't be left on the pot when not being used so it might be misplaced. Definately a great compromise for better coffee without spending hundreds of $$ on the premium brands. Pot needs to be positioned properly when brewing.

This is an overall nice coffee maker for the price. We really like it that the coffee stays hot for hours without getting that burnt taste. Like being able to see the water level without having to open the reservoir cover. Easy to program.

Make 8 cups for myself every morning, it stays hot until I finish the last cup. It brews very quickly and the water is heated to the optimal temperature. Won't give it up.
