Unfortunately, I have not used my cable yet because I'm looking for a recorder with a HDMI imput to record my DVD's. Upon investagating this I heard that Blue Ray disk recorders will be coming out with this ability in a few months. As it is the new HDMI TV's all have imputs but no output to record onto a DVD. Looks like Canon is ahead of their time so I'll have to wait for a recorder with an HDMI imput. However I do recommend Abes of Maine as their price was the lowest for the Mini end cable...
