The blender is used for primarily for pureeing and saucemaking. It's sealed glass bottom is strong and rigid, but scooping thicker finished food products out from around and under the blades is inconvenient. The two-speed control is just right - simple and reliable.

Works great and is simple to use. Only thing I wish it had was a way to easily remove the blades from the bottom so it would be a bit easier to clean.
