Thermadore got it right this time. I bought one of their high tech ovens 15 years ago and it has been OK, but has little quirks (like knobs popping off). And the oven cleaner setting does not seem to work. But this cooktop is as close to perfect as I think it can get. The only flaw I have seen is that grease spatter falls on the knobs which are in the front center of the cooktop. And it is tedious to qipe it out from between the knobs. I wonder if they would have been better placed along the right side.
