Using as stand alone for now - remodel of kitchen coming in March where it will be moved to a built-in application. Love I can do either with this product. Easily swallowed 90+ bottles - with two shelves left so I will be close to having ~106 bottles due to slight sizing variations. 2 shy of the 108 quoted figure. Pinot Noir bottles by and large DO NOT FIT on the shelves due to the closeness of the shelves above/below each other. Temperature holds quite fine within 1 degree variation through out the day. I have not verified (yet) the fridge thermostat with a thermometer to make sure its reading properly. The compressor is quiet by and large - much quieter than a normal dorm sized fridge for instance (I have a beverage fridge that is 4' high but is *very* loud ) we have this one installed in the breakfast nook directly next to both an external wall (bad for the temperature range as this wall gets 'hot' during the day) and open area next to our family room. The compressor rarely kicks in (good - means the insulation of unit holds) and when it does - it is not noticeable nor does it bother TV watching. Very pleased how quiet it is. Shelves move fine - until they are fully populated with bottles - then they are not as smooth as they do not have any sliders on a rail (one reason it costs so little). (Its just the shelf on top of a rail). It does have shelf stoppers so you cannot pull the shelf out of the unit without removing the safety catch. (good) The LED lighting is a nice touch - but once you will the top shelf - very little light trickles down to other shelves. This is normal for most wine fridges, but thought I'd point it out. Also there are no 'display' shelves - a shelf where you can highlight you best wines, but then you can see that by looking at the pictures.
