Hopefully, this will be a fairly comprehensive reviewAbe's of Maine - 5 stars: Customer reviews are sometimes bad. As a precaution, I called customer support prior to purchasing this unit. I had no trouble getting through to a representative who then answered all of my questions and concerns. He explained that any damage during shipping would be handled by the shipping company and any flaw with the unit would be handled by Summit. He even gave me a discount code for [$] off just for calling. The only negative was the web site said it would be 5-8 business days for delivery and it actually took 9 days. Gee, should I remove a star? Bottom line, I will buy from Abe's again.Summit - 4 1/2 stars: My pre-purchase call was handled great. Upon arrival, my refrigerator had a defective fan (the one that blows the heat out of the front). I emailed Summit and quickly received an email to notify service. My mistake was calling the next day. I was told a repair company would call in 2-3 days to set up an appointment. On the 3rd day without a call, I emailed service (as I was told to do in the first email). I received a response almost immediately and the next day a repair person called to set up any appointment. He replaced the fan and the unit works great. I'll take off 1/2 star because the unit was sent with a faulty fan, but customer service was very prompt.Wine Refrigerator - 4 1/2 stars: We placed it in our kitchen (the middle of the house). The wooden shelves look much nicer than the metal ones in some wine refrigerators. Most importantly, it is almost silent when it runs. I read lots of reviews about other brands, and almost all of them complain about the noise. My only complaint about the refrigerator itself is that it does not hold 33 bottles as described. No two wine bottles are the same size and shape. I laid out all of our bottles and I tried every combination possible, but I could never get 5 bottles to fit on a shelf. There is no problem with 4 bottles on each shelf, and 3 on the bottom -- 27 total bottles. As mentioned above, it will hold the rounder Pinot bottles. I'll take away 1/2 star since it didn't hold as many bottles as advertised.
