What a great product Samsung has provided. It offers a fantastic picture, decent sound (for a flat tv), and all the extra features you expect to come with a tv. It also has a variety of free and low cost apps to download with 1gb of memory. Certainly not as many as your cell phone, but the major choices are there. Facebook, twitter, [@], skype, googletalk, pandora, and more. Connecting to our wireless network was easy and painless. Connecting to the net is only slow the first time you turn on the tv.The remote is complex (two full sides of buttons w/qwerty keyboard) and oddly shaped but easy to read. except in the dark, the led doesn't stay lit long enough. It doesn't quite fit the hand well either. Type slowly on the qwerty side because the buttons don't always get acknowledged if not pressed all the way down...click.After pushing the power on button, the tv is instantly on and you have a picture in under 4 seconds. Hey....compared to other tv's I own, this was amazing to me. The smart hub/ the yahoo tools, etc are great and well organized. Yet, moving around in them is a bit cumbersome. Using widgets while watching tv sold my wife on it! She can do her facebook thing while I listen to the news. What sold me was the ability to watch movies directly off my hard drive. It reads AVI's MP3, and more. I had been using a WD media converter. I haven't got the right 3D glasses yet, it requires AUTOSHUTTER (not passive)glasses. No big deal for $30. Worth it to some, just not me.The first tv I was delivered had a huge crack down the screen, so I was able to take the entire tv apart for spare parts and see how it was constructed. I was amazed at the simplicity and quality of the constuction. There are no moving parts, no light bulbs, fans, etc. Just a few pc boards, some connecting wires, a pair of speaker boxes and a switch plate.I bought the 5 year warranty JIC, and hopefully, won't have to use it. Overall, considering all the features this tv offers, the picture, the quality, this is the best tv I have owed so far, and I have had my share of nice ones. As compared to the D8000, I really don't see the added value for the cost. Just better micro dimming and contract ratio.

I had never bought a big TV online so I was a little hesitant. I called Abe's and spoke with them about the product and the delivery. Abe's did everything they said they would do. The item arrived on time with no surprises. I searched and studied for 6 months before I decided brand, model and supplier. Believe I made the right choices for what I wanted.

The set up was simple. The picture on this LED is amazing. The lack of a 2"black border around the screen is a great selling point. Plenty of hdmi hook ups with room for more peripherals. I am very impressed with the ease of setting up the wifi.

Comments:

[...] The stand went on easily and fit nicely on our new credenza. Easy to hook up HDMI from DVR and Blu-Ray player, WII, VCR, and sound system. I had no trouble following the initial setup for the TV and wireless internet configuration. The picture is superb and you can clearly see all edges of the screen. I will never go back to analog CRT screens again. I feel like the picture is too real, if that is possible. The only down side is that the 7000 series doesn't come with the qwerty keyboard, you must register for a free one [...] I can wait. I waited for 8 years for this quality of TV to show up in my price range.
