This is my third Pilates reformer. In each purchase I've moved upward in terms of quality and the desire to use the equipment. This Stott Pilates V2 Max Plus Reformer is likely to be the last one I'll need to buy: it has a half Cadillac one one end and is the smoothest operating reformer available. The number of exercises and ease of use are unparalleled among reformers available either for the home or commercial markets. Yes, the Stott Pilates machine is expensive, but the quality construction is such that you will spend more time using the equipment and less time doing set ups or in wondering if the reformer can do what it is advertised as being able to do.

I had no worries about this particular reformer as it is the same machine used my local Pilates studio. I knew it was of excellent quality and would meet my needs. So far it has exceeded my expectations and I love having 24/7 access to it. I had a pleasant surprise when I opened the box to find 2 reformer DVDs and an exercise poster included. The DVDs do a great job of explaining how to use the equipment as well as offering several workout routines. Also, with the addition of the mat converter -- you have a comfortable, padded, spacious area that is perfect for pilates/yoga mat exercises.[...] The base is the heaviest piece but it has wheels so I rolled it into the house. From there I was able to assemble -- which went very quickly.I wanted to make sure everyone understands that even though the reformer is large and heavy, if handled in sections, it is definitely managable by one person.
