I opened the box, installed the software, and started using immediately. I especially like the zoom because I take pictures of my daughter when she rides her horse. I also like the software and all the functions for editing pictures and movies. No need to buy expensive editing products unless you are more than a casual user.

We use this video camera to record home movies of family events. We have not downloaded any of the recorded information at this time. It has image stabilization, great color quality in the viewer, impressive zoom capability. It is small and light weight.
