I DONT KNOW WHAT EVERYONE HERE IS TALKING ABOUT.I USED THIS BATTERY IT LASTED 5 HOURS AND THE BEST PART ABOUT IT IS IT CAME WITH A RAPID CHARGER!!!

I received this battery as an upgrade to the Canon BP-809B Lithium Ion Battery. What the heck did I do that for???? The battery was fully charged and placed on my Canon Vixia HF S10 camcorder. Once connected and powered on, my battery displayed a [?] and does not show the charge nor remaining time of the battery usage. Matter of fact, this battery sucks. My advice is to stick with the Canon orginal battery.
