Comments:

I finished my basement mostly for my kids but still wanted a big TV for viewing. Five years ago I overpaid for a Sony Bravia 46in LCD. A great looking TV but in retrospect, probably too much money. So when looking at 60 inches in 2012, I decided I'd try a Sharp. Samsung's had better reviews but on average were about $700-800 more expensive. I'm very happy with this so far. No problems at all. HD through Comcast, Panasonic Blu Ray, and XBox 360 all look perfect. 3D is a gimmick to me but I'd have to say looks pretty cool nonetheless. I haven't touched any of the apps that come with it and likely won't. (I'm using the Blu Ray and Xbox apps instead). Bottom line is if you're an average/above average consumer, get this great TV! You won't be disappointed and will have extra money in your pocket to spend on other things!
