Comments:

I use this lens with my Canon 7D. I travel often and love to take landscape shots, and anything interesting that may be at a distance. I don't like to miss those long shots. This lens is great! Sharp, fast focus, just love it. The biggest win for me was the price. Versus a Canon, that could 3x as much or more. You may need to make some micro adjustments, but when you're done, you'll love it. I got it on sale and used a promo code. Have fun all... :D

"Great Lens, Great Price"

PROS

  • Fast / accurate auto-focus
  • Consistent Output
  • Nice Bokeh

CONS

BEST USES

  • Weddings/Events
  • Indoors/Low Light
  • Sports/Action

Comments:

I primarily purchased this to provide additional support when photographing weddings inside the church and needed a lens that could get me in close without obstructing the moment, and the views, of those attending. It is a classic lens and know several professionals that have the Canon version. I have also tried the Canon 70-200mm and personally found no difference, except for the name. All in all, it is a great lens for the price. You can't go wrong with this in your bag.

If you are looking for a good alternative to the Canon lens, but do not want to spend the extra $$$$ then look no further. This is a great alternative for the cost and is just as good. You will not be dissapointed
