I love this lens. 17-70mm range makes it a perfect walk around lens. At wide 17mm aperture is f/2.8 which is great for low light and indoor photography. Close focusing, near macro capability is a plus. Lens construction is great and is heavier than Nikon kit lens but is sharper, faster and has a better range. Before this lens I got the sigma 18-250mm OS and was disappointed by the soft images at telephoto so I opted for the Sigma 17-70mm OS. I am glad I did! I can get a nice telephoto lens down the road, maybe the new Sigma 18-250 OS Macro if reviews are great, or a 70-300mm.. Either way, I'll still keep this lens. Thank you Abes for fast shipping!!!
