I bought this lens specifically for 360 - degree virtual tour projects and I have not been disappointed. The super - wide focal length also lends itself well to landscape and architectural photography.

This is a great lens and produces amazing shots. The distortions @ the widest angles are controllable--examine, carefully, the viewfinder before tripping the shutter.

When that "step back" might be disastrous, I use this lens for an extra-wide field of view. It's sharp, and it allows for the creative freedom to work in-camera rather than stitching images together in post.
