Comments:
I bought this lens instead of getting a fish eye to have a quality wide angle lens. After much research I found that for someone who loves to take pictures, but is by no means professional, the quality and value you get for the Sigma 10-20 3.5 fixed is unparalleled. The images produced are sharp and crisp all the way to the edges, through the full range of the camera's abilities, the auto focus is fast and accurate, and the low f stop makes this a great lens for night photography. The one downside and the reason I only gave it 4 stars is that the lens requires an 82mm filter, which makes it #1 hard to find filters. #2 When you do find them, it costs a small fortune. Other than that it is an amazing lens for the amateur photographer and I would recommend it to anyone.

After comparing the new Nikon wideangle zoom with the Sigma for quick a while, I decided to go with Sigma. This is my first non Nikon lens and it was the right decision. Very robust lens, fast focus and good sharpness. Compared to the Nikon price the right decision. Pictures with 10mm are a whole new dimension and a constant 3.5 gives you good light. I use it with my Nikon D80.
