I recently purchased 2 of these cards for my Canon 50d. I love the write/read speed and I have never had any issues with SanDisk cards failing. I have heard SanDisk will soon be phasing these cards out and spotlighting the extreme cards. These cards are fantastic, why not stock up on them at a great price?!fter mail-in rebate)

I upgraded from a typical 4gb Compact Flash in my DSLR and I couldn't really quickly take RAW pictures. However, now that I upgraded to the Extreme III I can take them as fast as I can focus. I am addicted to the speed of these cards and I will never go back to the normal CF cards.

Overall, this is a very nice card. I get the full 6.3 FPS on my Canon 50D, and it's quite difficult to use up the burst buffer as it empties so fast (with JPEG). I get about 1200 photos using Superfine JPEG, but only about 250 RAW. If I was going to shoot a whole day of RAW, I would want at least 16GB

I have 6 cards that I use for both short term storage and photo shoots. You cannot beat the price for the large capacity and speed.

Super quick for the money. Both with taking multi frames per second shots and downloading to the PC for review. 8GB can hold over 600 shots in 12mb RAW format. I have never encountered issues with the Extreme CF cards that I would have with the Ultra II's, no more corrupted files when down loading. Great value for the money

I bought this for my new Canon 7d, it is more then fast enough to handle the full 30min hd video and to buffer the 8fps. [...] Still great product and reliable, its Sandisk!

I have had other brands of cards. Stick to Sandisk. It is the only brand worth buying. They might cost a little more... but it is worth it!
