Comments:

I had a total knee replacement and my physical therapist suggested I buy an upright bike to improve the strength in my legs. I looked for a bike that had a small footprint, was easy to assemble and moderately priced. This bike fit all of my criteria.

Comments:

The instruction booklet has lots of diagrams, but few or no text directions. Some assembly steps are not obvious or intuitive, and the diagram doesn't necessarily help. Patience required. Once assembled, it performs nicely. Very quiet, decent heart monitor and program console. Fan is virtually useless. Book and bottle rack OK. Not for very tall people. A good adjustable wrench would be helpful in getting everything tight. Overall a good value, and service by Abe's of Maine.

Pros: Bike is so quite and smooth! Cons: Poorly written manual makes a moderate task more difficult. I do not recommend this bike for people over six feet tall because I am six feet tall and my knees almost hit the the bottom part of the hand bar.
