Attach the pedistal(for floor mount)with a helper...I used the lower (original)shipping foam & box to support and hold up TV (along with the helper)while I attached 4 mounting screws. I would have given a five star raiting except for the instruction booklet and customer service help line...wasnt much help after all. Next after securing the pedistal, I held the TV up while the helper removed the foam shipping support on one side. I let the pedistal support the one side (of the TV) while I held the other side and the helper removed the other shipping foam support. The TV now was using the pedistal to support it's self. Next the helper and I moved the TV to the TechCraft Model NTR60 TV Stand especially purchased for the Panasonic 60 inch TV. The HDMI connections to the Panasonic TV,Haier Sound Bar & Panasonic BDT220 3-D Blu-Ray required a SPECIFIC order to work. FIRST go from your provider Set Top Box (HDMI)to the Sound Bar OUT PORT. SECOND connect HDMI to Sound Bar IN PORT #1 and connect to TV top (#1)HDMI PORT. THIRD connect HDMI to Sound Bar to lowest IN PORT #2 and connect to 3-D Blu-Ray Disc Player. I couldn't get the three connections to work any other way for me....it all had to go from the sound bar out...The TV suggested using the three HDMI ports, but when connected from the TV to the sound bar I got no sound (only from the TV)but not the SB. I tried using the HDMI ARC port...no sound from the SB and the same with port #3. The TV setup & menu are easy to follow along with the remote. I used CNET recomendations for the TV, Sound Bar & 3-D BRDP and all work exelent (for the money spent)The sound bar I got super cheep (as a open box) with a no questions asked return policy & full warranty, I got the BDT220 for half off shoping around NIB with full waranty & free shipping and the TV I got the best price shoping around also. I used Panasonic and Haier Customer Service (phone numbers)several times and both were helpfull except for the HDMI connections I had to figure that out my self. The TV has stunning picture colors and depth with a OK sound out put, but the sound bar works so much better. The phone app Viera works and haven't tried Skype or 3-D or PC connections as yet, WIFI is set up, standard Disc works great on the (old JVC) disc player or the NEW 3-D BRD Player I also connected two other components...so far so good. OH... and the anti glare screen works exelent, I only see lighting from the sconse lights or the lamp if I delibertly look for it and the door wall lighting I can't see at all from most viewing angles. The only disapointment is that no 3-D glasses come with the TV, however that being said not much programing availiable for that feature yet, only on Disk for the most part (I'm still looking for a good price on them and have time to do that no rush, but I'm going with the Panasonic after reading the reviews).

I am amazed with picture quality with HD content. I have no 3D glasses so can't comment on 3D content but I have the TV close to a large window and found very little glare issues unless a bright light is turned-on behind me. I also find the Cinema picture mode or Game mode provide the best images, particularly when in well-lit rooms. Sound was also decent without home theatre system but I don't have it wall-mounted. I have to mention that the sales agent provided very helpful advice and looked into international warranty coverage with Mack. I received 100$ off 5-year warranty when I accepted to pay 100$ for personalized delivery. Not certain this was necessary because I was told by the delivery company that they were freight delivery. Either way, the TV showed-up without a scratch

Unbelievable picture quality on blu-ray and with a digital antenna. Extremely bright unlike plasma's in the past where having an LCD in a brightly lit room was a must. Not much glare on this model either. I would buy it 10x's over. Someone had said the VT50 doesn't produce as much heat in a small space but I can't speak to that. It warms up the room a little but any 60" TV would I feel like.

Plasma is currently the best value on performance for the price. As long as you have the ability to control ambient light and glare (HT Application) the PQ on this set is awesome.

I did lots of research and found this unit as top choice by CNET and Consumer Reports. I can see why, it is all they said it would be. Low glare, easy set up, easy control, and a beautiful picture. I highly recommend.

Even with the slight buzz I can hear when the room is dead quiet and the picture is white (doesn't make the buzz on dark images) I still have to give this TV 5 stars. Picture quality is amazing. No really, amazing! This was my first purchase through Abes of Maine and they gave me the best price and the service was great. Thanks!!
