Will never deal with Abe's again. High pressure from salesman to add "white glove" delivery service for $150 and extended warranty for $500. Their "white glove" delivery service didn't show up on 3 scheduled delivery dates and it took 3 weeks to finally get the TV. Would gladly pay $200-$300 more to deal with a reputable company.

I've owned this TV for a little more than a month. The slim bezel design is very elegant. Picture quality is superb. I'm very happy with the selection. No picture issues with fast action sports: hockey has been a staple. Great sound but the digital audio link lets me improve that by easily connecting this to a home theater. Set up was clear and simple. Connection to my home wireless network took no time at all. I knew in advance the preset brightness would need to be adjusted which it did, and this was easily accomplished. Once adjusted, the picture brightness is just fine. Black level is intense and can only be appreciated watching a dark movie in a very dark room. The hard upsell from the Abe's sales person for cables (which I didn't need), an extended warranty (which I won't buy), a wall mount (which I wouldn't use), or upgraded shipping (yada, yada, yada) was unpleasant but not unexpected. Great price. I did have to contact customer service because a gift card included in the sale was not present. Customer service answered my question and resolved the issue in a timely manner. No hesitation to purchase from Abe's again. If I buy another flat screen I'll likely choose the same set from the same retailer.

Worth every penny. Everything about this tv is easy to set up and use. Has numerous settings and calibration options to customize the picture to your environment and preferences, although the picture looked great out of the box. Surprisingly thin and lightweight for a plasma. We haven't used the 3D yet, but it's hard to imagine a better picture in 2D. Really like the minimalist bezel (frame). Packaged extremely well, too; even though the box was crushed, no apparent damage to the tv. Didn't appreciate hard-press sales call to get us to upgrade delivery service, buy protection plans, etc after ordering, though.

I never received the tv from Abe's. Even though 3 different people promised it would be here by a certain date(ie. Super Bowl). Sorry I didn't check with the BBB about Abe's before purchasing. They have many delivery and other problems. Check it out for yourself. The Tv itself I'm sure is great just never got it. Canceled my order and will never deal with Abe's again.

Beautiful television, exceptional black levels, accurate colors, fantastic design. A bit dim, but with the THX Bright Room setting it holds its own in my bright living room. I am very happy with this quality of this set.

The TV (TC-P55VT50) is one of the top-rated models available so I will not say more than it lives up to all of the good reviews. The only thing I'm not crazy about are the remotes with the touch pads, but I'm sure I will get used to them. Abe's had the best price, a good reputation and it has woked out well.

I researched this purchase until I was blue in the face. I knew it was the best picture i could afford so it came down to the best place to but from and I am very pleased I bought from Abe's. i will defiantly check out Abe's for my next major purchase! The only thing that was a little disappointing is the restaurant gift card. When It came time to use it... It seems to work more like a coupon than a gift card but it was FREE and I am really pushing hard to find something that could have gone better. The bottom line is... I am very happy with my purchase and I will buy from Abe's again!

The best picture quality of all top end HDTV's on the the market. I took three months to do my research before the purchase and I am pleased at the choice. For those on the edge in making a choice for Panasonic either the ST50 or GT50 there are comparable differences in picture which should swing you to the VT50.

This is a replacement for a 50" Viera that was 5 years old, but died from an electrical surge through the cable (the power was protected, but not the cable). Anyway, I received this TV and had it connected to the cable box and audio system within 10-15 minutes. Love the wifi built in to the box.

Great picture quality, however the sound is lacking. Would highly recommend it be attached to a home audio system.
