This picture is so sharp it takes some physical eye adjustment. My daughter and I become a little dizzy just from the size and clarity difference from our 20 year old tube. That lasted a couple of days then we were fine. We have a large family room and this TV still seems enormous. We are very happy about the Viera link features also. To connect to most of the social media and online music sites makes it even more valued in our home. The only weakness as always is the sound. I really do not think that those who purchase this would not be setup with a surround sound system, so it should not matter.
