The TV is fantastic, but the Abes of Maine salesperson tries to sell you all kinds of other stuff. Talked me into getting the fastest shipping, but that is NOT what I got. I would buy this tv again but I would not use Abes of maine again.

The plasma screen allows everyone in the theater room to see a great picture, even from the side angles. Very impressed with the Panasonic set up instructions and the many added connectors they include. Wonderful TV!!!

Going to drop Direct TV!!! Picture quality is superb with digital antennae. I'll miss Tivo, but planning on using WinTV. TV is connected to my home computer network and would have used Windows Media Center, but in Windows 7 it is not recording high resolution. My only gripe is the sound quality is poor through the tiny built in speakers. Had to upgrade my old Kenwood receiver and go digital (couldn't see spending the money on a sound box for the TV when I had BOSE speakers on the stereo).

The only downfall is some glare during the day if the shades are open but if you are buying a Plasma you know how to handle that (simple: close the shades). Overall these Viera's are rated on multiple reviews (including consumer reports) as the best Plasma TVs out there right now. They are awesome for sports, movies and everything else. the ST30 is the current top of the line Viera but i went with this GT30 for almost 500 dollars less. according to the reviews, the picture quality between the two is almost exactly the same and the additional features on the ST30 werent worth the additional premium in price to me. I Highly recommend this TV.
