Comments:

Bought this Lumix because I was so happy w/ the FZ7 I had bought in 2006. That camera has many similar features but is larger and more obvious when traveling. I wanted a pocket camera for light travel and convenience. Lag time totally depends on the type of SD card you use. If you want fast runaround and shooting speed, its worth the $ for an ultra or extreme SD card. The zoom is AMAZING on such a small camera. Very easily slips into a pocket or small purse.I use this camera for client's websites, and the photos are clear and sharp Check them out on [@]

I always carry a small point and shoot in the car for those photo ops that come along when I don't have my DSLR with me. This camera is great, fast focus, great zoom range, GPS!, great Image Quality. This ZS7 outshines the new ZS10 in IQ by a longshot ... believe me, I have compared the two. I really like this little camera. Great investment for me. Highly recommend.

This is a 'pocket' camera with features found on much larger, more expensive cameras. I can leave the slrs at home and carry this easily, without losing a lot of functionality.
