Not much to say about this. It does what it's designed to do, and does it well. The only thing I am not sure of would be the product's long term durability. Other than that, it's great, and it's cheap (two words not usually used together to describe camera equipment). Buy it if you need one!

As with all infrared connections, line of sight is required so you have to make sure the remote is pressed while it's being held somewhat in front of the camera where the infrared receiver is located. Not a big deal for me but may be for others.

The package arrived sooner than ABE's promised, and I pulled the battery isolator tab and was in business. Wonderful!

Comments:
This remote is great for tripping the shutter once you know that your camera has stopped shaking after zooming in to your subject with that long lens. It's also good for getting into the picture yourself if you don't want to set the timer on your camera. For me though, i like it so i don't shake the camera when taking moon or macro shots once i'm set up.
