This is great for photos I've made of kids. I do need to use a lower resolution, because my files are way too big.

This is a great camera. The use of the Commander mode is worth the upgrade. You can remotely control your flashes wirelessly. The camera has a good solid feel and takes excellent pictures. I would recommend it for the serious photographer.

This Camera is an upgrade from my D40. The D40 is only 6 mp. The D90 Sensor is 12 megapixel. This Camera Body will Autofocus with the older Nikkor AF lenses that use the screw drive focus. It will also Autofocus with the AF-S Lenses that have the internal "Silent Wave" motor. It is the least expensive Nikon Body that will Autofocus both lens types.

This is my first digital slr. I just made the switch from film - sadly selling off my F5 and other film bodies. I am pleasantly suprised at how easy to use and versatile this body is. Very easy to configure and the menu's are inuitive. I was hesitant to go digital at first but am very happy that I did.
