This is my first DSRL camera. I bought it just 2 days before going on vacation and I was amazed on how easy it was to get up to speed with all its features. Great results for landscapes, portrait and action pictures.

Have only had this camera a week so still learning what all it's capable of doing. The automatic features are pretty easy to understand and operate. Camera has trouble autofocusing sometimes when taking pictures using LCD screen and pictures come out fuzzy. The battery that's included has a short charge life, would definetely recommend upgrading to a stronger longer lasting one.

Overall great entry level dslr camera. Yeah it is missing a few of the high end options but again people it is a entry level class camera. compared to the other camera's in its class it has the same features but a high megapixel rating for the same price. Great choice for people wanting a camera with plenty of good features for everyday users. Also shout out to Abe's, the camera and a class 10 16gb sdhc card for [$] thats awesome thanks again.

As an entry level DSLR photographer, I am in love with this camera! I purchased it just before we went on vacation to the beach, and while there was just a tiny bit of a learning curve, I captured some amazing shots. I'm especially impressed with the "Child" setting, which makes colors in portraits of children more vibrant while keeping their skin tone natural, and the action setting, with which I captured birds in flight and family members jumping in the sand.

I generally use this product for outdoor photography. The basic lens that you obtain is great but the key drawback of the camera is it doesn't have an internal image stabilization which cameras like Sony alpha series do. The benefit of having an internal image stabilization is the benefit of buying cheaper lens. Lenses with VR tend to be more expensive than ones without it. The video quality is great and the autofocus works well. The camera is worth for its price except for the lenses where one needs to chip in more.

This camera is incredibly easy to use and works like a charm. If you're looking for a great first camera, this is a sure bet. As a point-and-shoot, it works better than your average camera designed for it, and manually it works just as well. The quality is great, and the design is right. I love this camera.

I really like this camera. I have only two problems with it. 1. I cant view myself when I cam making videos...it doesnt have a flip out viewer that I have seen on other DSLR cameras....(I am an avid YouTube video maker...so I needed that in a camera.) So it is hard to make video and see what I am doing. 2. Sometimes when I am making a video, it automatically stops recording. But I have noticed it does that about 6 secs in...So I wait 10 sec after I hit the REC button...then usually it doesn't stop. So, hopefully I have figured that problem out. Other than that, this camera IS worth buying for the amount of money it is. I got it cheaper here then I would on the [...] website...about [$] cheaper. So great product.
