Comments:

I am using this camera primarily in my genealogy work. Taking a picture of microfilm projected onto a whiteboard is tricky at best. I used the camera on automatic, with a scene setting of black and white and an effect setting of high contrast monochrome. I was blown away by the quality of the pictures of church records dating back to the 1600's. I have tried many medium cost cameras over the years; I doubt I will change again. This has all the features I could ever need.

Comments:

I love how you can change the settings to accomodate any type of picture taking but it can get a little confusing. I didn't like how you don't get a manual with it. So I had to download it because I wanted a reference and didn't want to go to computer every time I needed to look something up.

Compact size, fits in my shirt pocket, not heavy, either. Great for any type of event. Power button too small, needs relocating.
