We just got back from a ten-day vacation with this camera, and it did everything we asked of it -- photos from moving vehicles, through glass or plastic barriers, in low light, etc. -- just fine. My wife's learned its capabilities much faster than I have, so she should probably be the one writing this, but we're both very pleased.

I've had this camera for a short two weeks, but have been thoroughly impressed by its capabilities. It takes lovely shots of scenery, the macro function works wonderfully, and its auto-programming is very good at choosing the appropriate mode. It makes me feel like a better photographer than I really am. Which is sort of the point.
