I use this lens mostly for macro photography. It produces some real sharp images. Most of all, it is really simple to use. Only cons are (only when automatic focus) tends to take some time to focus and also tends to be a little on the loud side. I don't usually use automatic focus anyways but when I do this is what I have noticed...otherwise its a fantastic lens!
