Use micro for shots of jewelry and other small items; both for sale and personal use. Use the 35mm as a standard lens...great as a standard lens. Use others for outdoor use... scenery, group shots, etc. All are wonderful products and work perfectly... after all, they are Nikon and my years ago experience with Nikon is ratified!. Naturally, would expect more expensive lenses to be even better...economics limits that, unfortunately.

Comments:
I got this lens (it is a quality lens) but found that I needed the 105mm. The distance from your subject to get your 1:1 is extended with the 105mm. This is a must for flying insects and over all it just works better in macro distance to subject. I wish I could spring for the 200mm but the price is quite a bit more. I feel the 105mm is the sweet spot.
