Very good lens. Although I only had it for about one month, it lives up to my expectations. Going from a DX lens to a full frame lens, the weight is not that big of a problem.

This is a very sharp lens and it is a natural fit for my D700. I have owned the 24-120 F3.5-5.6 VR version of this lens for several years and never understood why it got such negative reviews, it is a very good lens also. The constant F4 of the new lens is very desireable and makes it equal to my Canon 24-105L F4 IS.
