These are the best headphones I have ever owned, they take sound and create such clarity you can hear every note high and low. I was blown away with the quality. I purchased based on other reviews. I have owned a number of different head phones from solid and well know companies in my life. These are the best I have ever owned. I was truly surprised, the only drawback is these seem very cheap when they come out of the box, but once you put them on unmatched sound quality.

The black cable had to be returned to Monster a week later after it failed. Sound is excellent but because construction is somewhat fragile, would not recommend for young users or frequent travelers.

These are the greatest headphones in the world!!! I have tried many different studio headphones from cheap to very expensive and these are the best in every category!! I cannot say enough about these headphones and AbesofMaine has the best price anywhere! If you are in the market for a new pair of headphones, buy these! You will not be dissappointed!

Let me start off by saying I am not an audiophile, but someone who does appreciates high quality. That being said, the Beats by Dre have definately satisfied my needs. I use the beats while listening to music on my computer/ipod, during workouts (lifting weights, not running), and during game playing on my PC. The Beats are very comfortable, lightweight, produce good sound, and are stylish. The lows sound great with deep bass, and while the highs sometimes get drowned out, most times they come across clearly. Something that I noticed right off the bat, is that the Beats can make your music sound better than you have ever heard through a pair of headphones, and can also make your music sound worse. What I mean by this, is that if your music isn't encoded at a high bitrate, your listening experience will suffer, cause the Beats will let you know that your song was not encoded at a high bitrate. Listening to music encoded at a high bitrate on the other hand, is a treat to your ears. For gaming purposes, the Beats give you a good gaming experience with authentic sounding sound effects and a good surround sound experience. Cons I came across were the price (but you do get what you pay for), the fact the Beats need to be powered by batteries (battery life is decent though), and the construction of the headphones (many people have complained about their Beats cracking at the headband, mine have't but I can definately see why and where they could crack). Although the Beats will run you a cool penny, if you are looking for a great listening experience and you treat your Beats with care, you will definiately be satisfied with your purchase. I know I am.

These headphones are great. The sound that they produce are amazing and they feel great on your head. I listen to music at home and while I travel and these are perfect for both. They are also very stylish. The only con is the sound leaking from the headphone but who cares. The noise canceling part makes sure that you can't hear anyone outside so its ok.

Most of the time I use these headphones through a stock headphone jack on a 6yo laptop, and I still believe that they sound amazing. One of these days when I get a new computer, I will get one of the sound modules and probably lose myself in the sound. The Beats feature powerful bass while still providing clear highs. If I have any gripe about these headphones, it would be that the noise canceling is lacking a bit. I would have to say that 80% of their ability is provided passively through the cushioning (which is very comfortable even for extended periods of time [5+hrs straight]). So if you're looking for a set of noise-canceling headphones to turn on without music, to block out environmental noise, these are not your first choice.

In overall it is great product and has great sound, I love listening music with this headphone. Bad thing is that I hear pop noise some time, sort of ESD current flow into the line when I usung my cellphone. I don't know what is it exactly but I can hear it quite some time.

The sound is great, but not the best I've heard. There is too much emphasis on marketing, packaging and design, and not enough on the robustness, quality and value of the product. The battery lasts only about 24 hours of listening time. I also hate the fact that you have to turn it on and off from the switch on the headset. If you forget to turn it off, you'll drain the battery overnight! It makes you wonder, why didn't they integrate an auto-off feature or something similar.
