I have enjoyed owning this tablet, I learn something new nearly everytime I use it. Downloading the user guide is essential and will greatly help you learn how to make the tablet do the things you want with much less frustration. Also visit the AP Store regularly, it's amazing what's available.

Overall it is great, but if you are looking to replace your PC this is not it. Great for web browsing and checking emails.

I have this product for about one month. It's great. Usually, I use it to read books. I like to use a pen to make some comments when I read. The digitizer pen of this product is different from those for other tablets. It really give you the right feeling of a real pen. The battery life makes you away from charging from time to time. The usb support makes it easy to copy your files, like pdfs and medias, into the tablet without any other additional software required. The hdmi port and flash support let the entertainment become easy. I connect it to my 40" LED TV and enjoy medias online. Everything looks fabulous except for a little heavy.

I am an engineering grad student, and use engineering programs. I also have like 20 lbs of books per quarter. I bout the tablet mainly for book reading and simple note taking (complex note taking should use real paper). It works great for books, provided you download a decent app (Repligo Reader is good for reading and PDF markups). I works fine for quick scribbling and quick notes (I use the Writepad app). It works WONDERS if your PC supports Remote Desktop Protocol. You can download an RDP app, and all you need to learn is port forwarding from your router and how to set up a static IP. Then you can access your home computer (or business PC) from anywhere with wifi. I have built spreadsheets and analyzed structures using the Thinkpad connected to my PC. The downside is that all the apps have to be downlaoded. It comes with some apps, but no really useful ones. If you want to use it as a computer, you will have a learning curve. You will NEED a file manager (I recommend File Manager HD). Also, if you are used to "windows" you can't do that yet with android. It's more difficult to switch between apps. I opened it and spent days making it suit my purposes, but now I love it! The stylus is worth it for not only handwriting, but also precise clicking in Remote Desktop. Buy an iPad if you just wanna have fun. I love the Thinkpad though. It works for me.
