I got this to help manage our 3 desktops and 4 laptops. I looked at Lenovo because I had gotten a Lenovo desktop over the winter at a great price and love it. I am happy I stuck with Lenovo, they have a great, reliable product. Having an extra display and keyboard has helped but not crucial. What's great: DVD drive, lots of USB ports, case big enough to work in, fast processor, quality and price What's not so great: Only 2 drive bays, no USB 3.0, server comes with cables for ONE drive so be sure to get cables for drive two What I've learned: 4 GB memory is fine; no need to expand; 2 int. drives is plenty for me because I have 2 ext. 2TB drives; set drive 1 for OS and PC Client backups, drive 2 for data, and your externals for server and data backups; works best with Windows 7, XP too, vista laptop b/u problematic (will try to upgrade to Win7 to fix that) THIS IS A GREAT SERVER, MUCH MUCH MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK OVER SOME OF THE OTHER HYPED UP ONES OUT THERE, PAY THE EXTRA IF YOU CAN.
