When storing wines for any length of time, maintaining their texture and flavor is essential. With distinct temperature zones, KitchenAid wine cellars allow you to keep wines at their appropriate temperatures.
Excellent unit. Expensive, but well built and worth the extra $$. To fill the unit to capacity,you need to nest bottles that have a tapered neck with bottles that have a rounded neck. Otherwise,you will not be able to get as many bottles into it as advertised. Upper shelves (Whites) maintain a temperature approx. 7-8 degrees colder than the bottom shelves (Reds) You can adjust the temperature, but not on individual zones. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.
