Filling the reservoir without spillage is a challenge. Most importantly, the coffee doesn't stay hot even when the empty pot is filled with hot water to heat it up.

The coffee maker itself is a good product. The carafe however does not pour well, leaves a substantial amount of coffee unaccessible, and the lid is time consuming to replace.
