Comments:

Great product. It takes a little time to get use to menu. But the end result was great digital photos from the slides. I went through 600 slides in about 3 evenings. I found that a few slides I had to cut but that was because who ever shot the picture did not center the image & besides once you have it captured digitally you don't need the slides anymore (be brave throw them out!!). Overall great product and I have people lined up to pay me $.15 per slide. Sweet!!

35mm slides were easily converted to digital and downloaded to computer. I found most of them being from some years ago had to be brought into photoshop to restore them to super high quality. The film2sd exceeded my expectations for the price of the unit. Highly recommend this for a low cost way to transfer slide to digital!

I am transfering all of my old slides & films to digital images and it really makes it a lot easier. Only wish there were two slide trays and that it opened and closed a little easier; but as it wears a little I am sure that this problem will cure itself. It works exactly as advertised and I love it.

I only worry that the plastic slide/negative holders will last (i.e. not break ) for a significant time.

Comments:

I have about 15,000 slides that i want to transfer to my computer. I can transfer a 140 slide carosell in about 2 hours. It takes longer to load to three slides in the holder than anything else. I load slides on data card and then transfer them to the computer. I'm very pleased wtih the way it works. The only problem I have is when you turn unit off it does not save your settings, I have to change from negative to slides everytime I power up. Other than that I think for the quality it is a great a great value. The slides are not profesinal photos just family photos.
