I realize that the Gemini PA-7000 is sold as a tie in preamp for DJ sound, but my use is for quality home stereo. When used to drive a tube amp, the 7000 is at its best. By allowing the multiple input choices for MP3 player, CD, tuner, et al., the tone controls and the master volume, it becomes the very preamp that tube amps do not have. And the tubes warm the sound and counter any harsh sounds that enter prior to the amp.
