The small screen Garmin is just the right size! The widescreen models are a little too intrusive, distracting your attention from the road. The 275T, with its pre-loaded North America and Europe, is ideal for those who occasionally travel to Europe, as you need guidance even more in foreign countries. It's great to get off the beaten path knowing you can't get lost, and it encourages you to use secondary and rural roads.

Comments:
We use it in Northeastern US with good results. Our main reason for the 275 was its European capability. We used it in Belgium, Holland, France and Switzerland. It lead us to our urban and rural locations. We especially liked how it handled round abouts and traffic cameras. There were a couple times were you would have to make quick turns in succesion that I would be confused, by the voice commands, but the arrow would confirm the appropriate direction.

First weekend using nuvi on local NYC/Westchester, NY roads, amazed by ability to quickly recalculate after wrong turns, announcements well-timed to road signs, general accuracy. Can't wait to use in UK during May vacation to the great gardens of England...

Love the amount of information it holds for both US and Europe. Has been very accurate so far. Issues: Sometimes it takes a while to acquire on start-up - other times it is fast. Using this unit is Paris France. I cannot take all the constant dinging from the speed trap camera warnings. Need a way to turn those off. I ended up just turning off the sound. Overall an excellent value for the unit.

Unit works great. Easy to operate. I like the text-to-speech. Garmin should update the maps more often to accomodate new construction.

Locked up on first turn-on in Europe and could not be reset. Had to wait until the battery died. Worked again when returned to US. Will try again on the next trip to Europe.
