Drop in replacement for other GE 36" stoves. Heats extremely quickly. Make sure you have magnetic pots and pans.

I've only had, and used, this cooktop for 2 weeks. So far, I like the way it heats up fast and how you can better control the heat with .5 increments. This is much better than the average electric cooktops that are either too cool or too hot. The thing I don't like is the ceramic glass. You have to buy a special cleaner, rub it, then buff it, like waxing your car! It's too high maintenance to keep shiny clean, but that's all there is right now. I haven't used every single control, so my opionion might change in a couple of months as I use the cooktop more. It should also come with it's own fan that extends 36 inches high. The additional fans you have to buy are worthless at 6 inches high. For now, so far, so good on the actual induction cooktop.

GE's Profile Series PHP960DMBB Profile Series 36-in. Electric Cooktop is a great stove. We live in Lake Tahoe (6300' elevation) and it will boil water in less then a minute. Abe's provided great support and upgraded our shipping. I highly recommend both.
