This cooktop is a good introduction to induction cooking. My wife likes the fact that you can cook with a towel under the pot without damaging the towel and thus minimizing any possibility of overspill or scratch on the cooktop surface. There is a very slight noise from the pot on the highest settings, but it is the only disadvantage so far.
