This is a nice compact microwave and serves its purpose for my family just perfectly. It is mostly used to heat up leftovers and popcorn and so far it has been doing a great job. We have a small kitchen and needed something small. We have plans to mount it under the cabinets to free up counter space so hopefully, that won't be too difficult. I think for the price and features it is a great little microwave. I also, think that Abes did an excellent job of packing/boxing it arrived to my doorstep in excellent condition. (these days your lucky if what your ordered isn't broken in some way due to poor packing & the post office!) Overall experience w/Abes was excellent! :)

So far I am completely thrilled with it. Its overall size was just what I needed to hang under the counter in a small kitchen. Its performance has been great; being able to easily turn off the turntable allows me to use a large or several dishes in at once. The controls are fairly simple and easy to use, plus the timer and reminder functions are very handy. Popcorn is great; cooks fresh vegetables perfectly . Its a daily joy to use. My only complaint? there is no door handle, to close it I have to choose a spot on the door to push on, knowing I will leave my fingerprints, and have to clean it later.

Abes Of Maine was an excellent place to buy this item. This product was really the only microwave that would fit in our cabinet. We had the older model that didn't have a turntable. The only thing bad about this product was I peeled off the inner clear plastic film that covered the metal grill to prevent splatter on the glass. I thought it was a protective cover that we are suppose to peel off, however this was not the case. GE came out and replaced the entire door very quickly and at no charge. I was very impressed with them and will buy a GE product again.

Replaced a 25 year old GE Spacemaker II with this one. I used the old under cabinet mount which seemed better.

It thinks for you. Senses when a beverage is done, whether it's reheating coffee or making a cup of tea with teabag. Cooks vegetables perfectly. Also reheats without drying out the food. Express cooking -- power is on high, so only number of minutes have to be pressed. Time cooking (for defrosting) easy, too. Best of all, it fits perfectly in my small space.

for a small microwave, this GE has had ample power. we needed this size to fit in the small undercabinet space our old GE spacesaver came out of. Only minor gripe is there is no way to turn off the "done cooking" alarm like our old one could - hard to get away with late night nachos without anyone finding out;)

I was looking for a microwave that would fit into cabinet space above the counter. I came across this and I thought it would do the trick. Not only were the measurements perfect, but this microwave looked very nice. I just could not decide if I wanted black or stainless. Chose the black when I saw another review complaining about finger marks on the stainless. Heats like a champ - much better than my 15 year old full size GE Profile and the price was right. Thanks!

Previous Spacemaker was no longer working correctly. This one is a newer model and has more features. It is easy to use and clean. Used mostly for cooking frozen dinners, fresh vegetables, and soup. Also does a good job of defrosting meat and poutry. Requires a longer cooking time for some of the frozen dinners.

This microwave is great. This was a replacement for a 15 year old similar GE model. The sensor cooking is great. The size of the oven is wonderful - it can fit oblong and rectangular dishes. With our last microwave we just used it on the counter. This one we are mounting under a cabinet over the cooktop. Don't waste money buying the install kit - if you do any home improvement work you can easily mount this with washers and screws.
