It is great for fresh corn on the cob, heating and reheating food and making popcorn. It is open and spacious inside, sacrificing a little in exterior size (too much space), but worth the sacrifice. Easy to clean inside as well as outside and matches up well with the other stainless appliances in our kitchen.

We have had this microwave installed for about one week now. My wife loves it and that's what really matters. It heats faster than our old microwave, looks nicer from a distance, has more features, and has a bigger space inside. What I don't like is the display surface. I expect it to be nice and tight, but it's more bubbly or wavey. A minor annoyance as we're enjoying it so far.

After going for several months without a microwave, this microwave has become my best friend! I don't know how I did without one for so long, but I couldn't find one I liked until I came across this one. I was first attracted by the styling, but I also love the ease of use. A mid-sized microwave (~1.5 cu. ft.) would've been ideal for me. The 1.0 cu. ft. version was a little too small and this one (2.0 cu. ft.)is a little large, but I'm sure it'll come in handy for parties when I use larger platters.

Bought the latest GE Profile microwave to replace an older smaller built in GE Profile Performance unit. The new one appears to be slightly more powerful and retains the familiar control panel.It has a slightly "cheaper" feel possibly due to the use of thinner materials throughout.

This is a simple, reliable and strong microwave. No frills to jack up the price unecessarily, this nuker has all the fundementals required of today's kitchens. The large capacity allows for heating/reheating without switching to a smaller container. The power available ensures long life and versatility at lower levels. As far as I'm concerned, the value of this low-cost, 1200 watt microwave can't be beat.
