I absolutely love this product. I purchased it as a gift for my daughter for her new home. We have enjoyed breaking it in together. I must get one for my own kitchen.

My better half is a great chef, and we purchased this product for the "professional kitchen" style and usage/features it offers. The stainless is so easy to clean, and doesn't chip/nick like other surfaces.

Comments:

Let me first start with installation. I installed myself and had no trouble with connections. With easy access to the adjusting feet, it was easy to level. I wouldn't recommend adjustment after pushing into place since the feet would be difficult to reach. Connecting went smoothly and the only complaint here is that the back of the range is not recessed evenly. It protrudes in the middle and my wall plug prevents me from pushing all the way to the wall. Your setup might be different (offset receptacle). Check dimensions prior to buying! If you're not comfortable with making a gas connection, call a qualified installer. We make a lot of meals from scratch so we do a lot of cooking on this range. The 5 burners were a major buying factor since this is an uncommon feature. The griddle that comes with the range and fits in the middle is a bonus. The rear burners leave something to be desired as they can be used for small pots or simmering, but have some trouble boiling medium to large pots of water. The burner in the front has a "power boil" notch on the handle and it does what it says. The two front burners put out a lot of surrounding heat and I have to be mindful of whats on the counter next to the range when cooking. The range surface can get very hot because of this (I had ceramic before, stainless retains the heat). Not a big deal, just have to be careful. Absolutely love the oven. Convection is great, cooks evenly and fast. Made (3) sheets of cookies at one time and it cooked them all evenly! Note: convection fan runs for a while sometimes after turning off. I found out that this is a feature to protect the front digital controls from overheating. Completely normal. Some complain that the fan is too loud... I would compare it to a range hood fan on medium speed. Not bad. Meat thermometer works well, still getting used to it. I will most likely never use the warming drawer and this figures to be the only wasted feature for me. Overall, this is a great product. They say you get what you pay for, and the GE Cafe line is a nice product. A little pricey but I would say worth it.
