I have had this freezer about a month. So far it has worked great. I like the outside door mounted electronic controls for setting the temperature, displaying the temperature, setting the extreme freeze, and locking the controls. Lots of inside shelf space. Door shelves are nice and deep and hold large objects easily, and our adjustable. We have it in a laundry room where when it is running in such a closed space it seems loud. The noise may bother some who are bothered by noise in which case having it in the garage may be a better location. Manual states that using it in cold temperatures, such as in an uninsulated garage is permitted and should operate without difficulty. Didn't test this aspect of its usage, but others may find it useful information to know. The freezer was shipped on a pallet significantly larger than the freezer. The first one that was shipped took about a month to get to New Mexico from Abe's and be delivered by the local delivery company and was badly damaged, driver said that a fork lift must have run into it with one of its forks. I refused delivery and they took it back with them. Called Abe's and they had already noted that it was damaged and would file a claim, within a week or two they processed the claim and sent a new freezer. This one arrived in perfect shape. However, we paid extra for HomeDirectUSA delivery. I thought that would include delivery into the house and setup in the laundry room. The local delivery representative just dumped it in the garage in the box and left. No unpacking, no placement into the first floor laundry room which was off the garage with NO steps or rises. Because we live about 20 miles from the local delivery company location each of the two deliveries took two weeks (first one) or more (replacement delivery). We were not impressed with local delivery company and would not pay extra again for this type of delivery service. Very pleased with the freezer and the way Abe's handled the replacement order, but not at all pleased with paying extra for HomeDirect service as it did not seem to include the delivery services that were told to me by the representative at Abe's, nor the amount of time it took to have it delivered the last 20 miles. The freezer is a five star product so far, I took off one star for the product review because of the extra cost of special delivery service that was useless. These are my comments and I didn't receive anything in exchange for writing this review.
