Comments:

This is the only mini system that I could find that is fully installable without HVAC equipment. The installation went reasonably smooth, with the exception of the final mounting of the indoor unit to the mounting plate. The recess in the back of the unit is so tight that the line set must be curved precisely around into the 3" hole to allow the unit to snap into place. I could NOT get this right, and mine is not snapped in at the bottom. The unit does operate very quietly and efficiently, but it does NOT maintain a tight temperature range. I am lucky to get + or - 3 degress F. This is pretty terrible control. And the remote does NOT operate exactly as described in the included manual. Calls to customer service did not help AT ALL. They were not very familiar with these units and did not have access to any useful information that could help explain my difficulties.
