The suction is much stronger that that of my previous hand vacs. The DC35 does an exponentially better job. I will give my previous one to charity – and recommend the Dyson DC35 to others. It was more difficult to find a location for the bracket near an outlet, and then to mount it, than it was to place my previous floor-standing one.

Very high quality fit & finish like a fine Swiss Watch, awesome design & quieter than expected after reading some other review about it being loud? Are they kidding? Some reviews complain of short battery life, but I found it lasted longer than expected & charges quickly, I think many people don't have experience with cordless appliances or expect them to work as corded counterparts, No big deal just charge it up again or swap 2 batteries.
