Cuisinart FP-12DC 12-cup Elite Food Processor - Die Cast

After my old (27 years!) food processor died, I tried & tried to find a suitable replacement. Because I've been pleased with my Cuisinart coffee maker, I decided that it might be worth it to spend the extra $$ and get a Cuisinart FP. I love this machine, and am glad I didn't get the 9 cup model I had started to buy - the extra bowl room is nice. Has done everything I can think of, and has done it quickly & quietly. I was even able to easily grate some of my homemade bars of soap for use in the laundry - it breezed right through those hard bars! So easy to put together, and take apart. Clean up is easy with a bottle brush; I air dry all plastic items, so this is not inconvenient at all. Appears very sturdy & durable. Only thing I don't like is that the smaller feed chute on this doesn't take a whole potato, so I need to cut them in half (width)and place them in the larger chute. I would mark this 4 3/4 stars, only because of the this one small flaw! Definitely worth the money. I have three other machines here that just don't work like I need them too!

It's heavy and big, compare to my stand mixer. Needs a counter top home, not a cupboard. I haven't used it for everything I have planned for yet, but it seems to be a machine that will handle whatever I throw at it.

After getting the cusinart 12 Cup DC food processor, my life became more beautiful. My cooking became marvellous. My Husband love the items prepared with this. It improved out family bond. Every family should have a cusinart food product for better family relationship.
